Drop in email markup from your builder, or upload an .html file. Load the sample if you want to try the tool first.
Use Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile to check layout at 600px, 480px, and 320px before you send.
Copy or download the HTML for your ESP — or send a test to your inbox to check how it looks for real.
Email HTML is not the same as website HTML. Clients like Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Yahoo each interpret markup differently — a template that looks fine in a code editor can break in production.
A live preview helps you catch broken layouts, missing alt text, tiny tap targets, and CTA buttons that disappear on mobile before subscribers see them.
Use this free HTML email template preview to paste or upload your campaign markup, switch device widths, and optionally send a test to your inbox before launch.
Most email clients strip or ignore large parts of modern CSS. Flexbox and grid support is inconsistent. External stylesheets are often removed entirely.
That is why production email templates rely on table layouts, inline styles, and fixed max-widths around 600px — patterns this preview is designed to reflect.
Browser preview is a fast first pass. Always follow with a real inbox test for Gmail and Outlook before a high-stakes send.
Use the Desktop (600px), Tablet (480px), and Mobile (320px) toggles to simulate common inbox widths. Check that headlines wrap cleanly, images scale down, and buttons remain easy to tap.
Include a viewport meta tag in the head of full documents. Without it, some mobile clients zoom out and make text unreadably small.
Tables remain the most reliable way to structure email columns because Outlook desktop still uses the Word rendering engine for much of its layout.
Use role="presentation" on layout tables, nest content tables inside a centered wrapper, and avoid relying on div-only multi-column layouts unless you have tested them thoroughly.
Put critical styles inline on elements — font-size, color, padding, background, border-radius where supported. A <style> block in the head can help for media queries but should not be your only styling layer.
Avoid JavaScript, embedded video, and complex animations. Most clients block scripts entirely, which is why this tool strips them from the preview.
Images not loading in preview usually means the URL is blocked, requires authentication, or uses HTTP on an HTTPS page. Use publicly accessible HTTPS image URLs in production.
Fonts may fall back to system defaults in many clients even if you link Google Fonts — always specify Arial, Helvetica, or Georgia as fallbacks.
Keep the main content width at or below 600px, use high-contrast CTAs, and limit image-only emails that hurt accessibility and spam scores.
After previewing here, always run one final test send from your email service provider — no browser preview replaces real inbox rendering.
