Paste the script in your page's <head> or body — or your SEO plugin’s custom schema field. Visible FAQs must match this markup.

The tool builds FAQPage JSON-LD as you type. Add or remove pairs anytime — empty fields are skipped.
Copy the script into your page <head> or <body>, or add it through your SEO plugin. Then test with Google’s Rich Results tools.
FAQ schema is structured data that tells search engines a page contains a list of questions and answers. The most common format is JSON-LD using the FAQPage type from schema.org.
When implemented correctly, Google may show expandable FAQ rich results under your listing — giving you more SERP real estate and clearer answers before the click.
A free FAQ schema generator speeds this up: you enter Q&A once, get valid JSON-LD, and paste it on the same URL that shows those FAQs to users.
FAQ markup does not magically boost rankings by itself. Its value is visibility and relevance when rich results appear.
Sites that already rank on page one often see the biggest CTR lift because FAQ rich results expand the snippet footprint. Pair schema with genuinely helpful answers — not keyword-stuffed fluff.
Enter each question and answer pair that users will see on the page. Click Add question for more pairs. Use Load example to preview valid output, then Clear to start fresh.
When you’re happy with the JSON-LD, copy or download the script and place it on the same URL that shows those FAQs. Keep wording identical between the visible FAQ and the schema text.
Google recommends JSON-LD for most sites because it keeps markup separate from presentation HTML. Microdata embeds schema attributes into your tags and is harder to maintain on modern themes and CMS setups.
This tool outputs JSON-LD only — the format most SEO plugins and developers prefer for FAQPage, HowTo, Product, and Article markup.
Custom HTML: paste the generated <script type="application/ld+json"> block in the head or before </body>.
WordPress: use an SEO plugin’s schema / custom code field, a header/footer script plugin, or your theme’s custom code area. Ecommerce builders usually offer a similar “custom liquid / script” slot.
After publishing, validate with Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator. In Search Console, watch Enhancements reports after the next crawl.
Google has tightened FAQ rich results over time. Eligibility can change, and not every site will see FAQ rich results even with valid markup.
Still follow the rules: the FAQ content must be visible to users, answers must be useful and accurate, and you should avoid marking up ads, user-generated content you don’t control, or unrelated Q&A dumps.
If Google stops showing FAQ rich results for your site type, keep the schema only if it still helps machines understand the page — never spam identical FAQ blocks across every URL.

Yes as a visibility tactic. Valid FAQ markup can unlock rich results that improve CTR. It is not a guaranteed ranking boost by itself.
Only if those pages truly show the same FAQs. Prefer unique, page-relevant Q&A. Repeating identical FAQ schema sitewide can look spammy.
Structured Q&A can help machines understand concise answers. Voice results still depend on Google’s systems and query type — treat it as a helpful signal, not a guarantee.
The output uses standard FAQPage JSON-LD. Compliance still depends on your content: visible FAQs, accurate answers, and no prohibited use cases.
Use Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator on the live URL. Check Search Console enhancements after Google recrawls the page.
In the page head or body, or via your CMS/SEO plugin’s custom schema field. Keep it on the same URL that displays the FAQ content.
Generation runs in your browser. We don’t require an account to build FAQ schema, and your Q&A text isn’t uploaded to create the markup.
